What we treat

Six areas of care, each met as a whole person.

Patients seldom arrive asking for a category. They arrive with a cough that has lingered since February, or a trouble that has followed them for years. Begin where yours belongs.

Breathing

Coughs that return each winter

Asthma, bronchitis, seasonal allergies, colds that settle into weeks of coughing. We attend to when it begins, what worsens it, and what you were like as a child, for a seasonal pattern is a clue, not a coincidence.

  • Attack frequency reviewed against the season, not the calendar alone
  • Inhalers and existing medicines remain unless your physician advises otherwise
  • Triggers noted carefully so patterns become visible
  • The aim is fewer episodes first, then gentler ones
  • Asthma
  • Bronchitis
  • Allergies
  • Recurrent colds
  • Sinusitis

Joints and back

Pain that keeps its own timetable

Arthritis, lower back pain, a shoulder that never came right, stiffness that shifts with the weather. Classical case-taking is especially attentive to modalities: what position, what hour, what temperature, what movement.

  • Pain mapped by time of day and weather
  • Old injuries treated as part of the case, not mere history
  • Movement guidance you can keep to at home
  • Referral for imaging when it is truly needed
  • Arthritis
  • Back pain
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Muscle stiffness
Digestion

When antacids became a habit

Acidity, bloating, IBS, constipation that has outlasted every remedy in the cupboard. Digestive complaints respond well to consistency, so the plan is kept deliberately simple: one remedy, a short list of things to set aside, and a clear review date.

  • Meal timing and sleep reviewed alongside symptoms
  • A short list of foods to hold off, not an endless one
  • Stress and appetite treated as part of the same case
  • Endoscopy or blood work read together, when you have them
  • Acidity
  • IBS
  • Constipation
  • Bloating

Skin

Treated from within

Eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, adult acne. Skin cases ask for patience: creams that suppress an eruption often move the trouble rather than resolve it. We work on the constitution and expect the surface to follow.

  • Photographs at each visit so change is seen, not merely remembered
  • Steroid creams tapered only with your dermatologist
  • Told clearly that skin cases usually ask for months of care
  • Itch, sleep and season recorded together
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Acne
  • Urticaria
Women's health

Cycles that never quite settled

PCOS, irregular or painful periods, thyroid reports that keep drifting, the years around menopause. These consultations are given the time they deserve, and they are with the same physician every visit, which matters when the subject is personal.

  • Cycle diary kept from the first visit
  • Sonography and hormone panels read alongside the case
  • Pregnancy and postnatal care coordinated with your obstetrician
  • A woman physician, for those who would prefer one
  • PCOS
  • Menstrual irregularity
  • Thyroid
  • Menopause

Ample time is not a courtesy. It is how classical Homœopathy does its work.

Sleep and mind

Awake at three, weary by evening

Insomnia, anxiety, exam stress, migraines that arrive on the same afternoon of the week. Sleep and temperament are asked after in every consultation here, and they are often the first to soften once the remedy is well chosen.

  • Sleep pattern recorded carefully, hour by hour
  • Works alongside counselling or psychiatric care, never in place of it
  • Migraine triggers tracked over a full cycle
  • Nothing of your case leaves the consulting room
  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety
  • Migraine
  • Exam stress
The process

How care unfolds

  1. Initial consultation

An unhurried case-taking. The present complaint, then the history around it: sleep, digestion, temperament, family illnesses, and what makes things better or worse.

  2. Case analysis

Studied after you leave, against the repertory and materia medica. This is why the remedy is sometimes given at the close of the visit, and sometimes the following day.

  3. Your remedy plan

One remedy, the potency, how often to take it, what to set aside, and when to return: all written down for you.

  4. Follow-up care

After some weeks for long-standing cases; sooner for acute ones. The remedy is changed only on evidence, never on impatience.

Please bring to your first visit

  • Any reports from the last two years
  • Medicines you take now, including supplements
  • Approximate dates of when the trouble began
  • For a child, the parent who is with them most
